Well.ca - business with a big heart!
I <3 Well.ca!
What is Well.ca?
Quoting from their website:
"Well.ca is Canada's largest online health and beauty store. At Well.ca, we aim to be a friendly, compassionate, and responsible company that makes every effort to best serve our customers' health and beauty needs."
I found Well.ca a way back, during my search for an affordable source of Aubrey Organics' personal care products.

Cause of ALS found!
I forgot to post this earlier so, my bad. Here is the link to the article about a very important medical discovery - "Cause of ALS is found, Northwestern team says breakthrough in Lou Gehrig's disease could lead to treatment", published in Chicago Tribune on August 22, 2011, by William Mullen, Tribune reporter.

"When Ubiquilin2 is unable to remove or repair damaged proteins, the damaged proteins begin to pile up in the cells, eventually blocking normal transmission of brain signals in the spinal cord and brain, leading to paralysis."

DEXTER, season 6 starts October 2nd!
My favorite serial killer, Dexter, will be back for another (hopefully bone chilling) season, starting October 2nd.
In case you don't know who Dexter is, well, you can google it. Suffice it to say, Dexter has had five very successful, award laden seasons, and I am so looking forward to season six. It will be a challenging one, as daddy Dexter recently became a single father of three, incl. baby Harrison. How does he find the time to keep a full time job, raise three kids, and still hone his nighttime craft of dispatching baddies to their final destination in the currents of deep blue ocean...
I can just about hear all the "catlicks" condemning us both right about now... Oh well, can't please everyone.

TELUS your problem
A while back, and possibly with some misguided help from Jack Daniel's, my beloved husband signed his soul away in the phone/Internet contract to the evil entity called TELUS.
But, having constant Internet connection issues, and getting nowhere with the obviously outsourced, Engrish speaking tech support wannabes, he finally gave in to my voice of reason, and cancelled said account.
As he was at it, when asked why was he cancelling, he politely explained that he was tired of the connection issues, lack of (properly trained) tech support, as well as the impossibility of utilizing his Gigabit connection hardware because of the phone line data transfer rate limitations.
You would think that would do it, and they would leave us alone, right?
Wrong.

CNet's Download.com? Stay away!
CNet's Download.com is now officially the super-sucky.
They are now loaded with home page hijacking, search engine changing, etc., bloatware.
"One of the world largest software download sites, Download.com, has been found to add bloatware to their downloads.
The files come with a proprietary Download.com installer that tries to push you with toolbars, as well as change home pages and default search engines in addition to installing the software itself."
The funniest (not) part is they have the audacity to claim this is for the users' good...
<rolls eyes>
Bye bye, CNet.
